Cook Master

Position: Cook Master (Cocinera/Cocinero)

Working as a Cook Master means…

You are the maker (concinero / cocinera) of all the authentic Mexican street food that comes out, and you are responsible for problem-solving anything that comes your way. You are creative with the inventory available and take pride in the work and the brand. You create an experience that makes customers feel welcome and cared for, just like your Abuelita. You are a team player, motivated, and like to serve others. This position often works under little supervision, so you must be able to follow recipes and multi-task.

Responsibilities:
- Properly learn and quickly execute all recipes with consistency and quality (many recipes are made from scratch!)
- Maintain cleanliness (in and out the kitchen)
- Follow proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food
- Communicate inventory needs and orders to Team Members
- Take and process orders with a friendly attitude using our systems
- Ascend or descend stairs
- Lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds

Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Available to work on weekends.
Compensation:
- $9.00 / HR + Cash Tips (Opportunity for raise after 90-day review)

- 50% Reimbursement on Passed Food Management Course
